# Direct Connect - Demand (Push)

RateGain's Channel Manager, a premier channel-management solution used by the world’s leading hotels, is the flagship product of RateGain. This document is divided into three sections:

**Section 1: Overview**

* Provides an overview of how online travel agents (OTA) would integrate with RG Channel Manager using DirectConnect specifications.

**Section 2: Technical Specifications for ARI Exchange**

* Offers technical specifications for developing web services that enable the exchange of Availability, Rates, and Inventory (ARI) information between the Channel Manager and OTA.

**Section 3: Technical Specifications for Reservation Service**

* Provides technical specifications of the reservation service that OTA would use to push reservations to the Channel Manager.
