# Operation: Reservation

**Operation Overview**:

* This web service operation allows the OTA to push reservations to DirectConnect.

**Messages Involved**:

1. **OTA\_HotelResNotifRQ**:
   * Sent by OTA to the DirectConnect service to notify the commit, modify, or cancel a booking.
2. **OTA\_HotelResNotifRS**:
   * Sent by DirectConnect in response to acknowledge the notification.
