Interface Specifications – Reservation Notification Service

Overview

RG Bridge Services for PMS Integration is a comprehensive suite of services available to RateGain partner organizations. These services facilitate the integration of Property Management Systems (PMS) with the Channel Manager.

RateGain's Channel Manager:

  • A premier channel management system for distributing Availability, Rates, and Inventory (ARI) to Internet Booking Agents (OTAs) and collecting reservations from them.

  • Trusted by some of the world’s most renowned hotels and hotel chains.

Functionality:

  • PMS to Channel Manager: As availability and rates change in the PMS, updates are pushed to RezGain. RezGain processes these messages and pushes updates to the subscribed OTAs.

  • Reservations to PMS: Reservations retrieved by the Channel Manager are sent to the PMS.

Documentation Scope:

  • Part 1: Specifies the interface that RateGain's Channel Manager makes available to PMS to push ARI updates.

  • Part 2: Details the interface that PMS needs to provide to the Channel Manager for pushing reservations and obtaining confirmation numbers.
