RG Bridge Services for PMS Integration is a suite of services offered to RateGain partner organizations. These services are designed to integrate Property Management Systems (PMS) into the RateGain Channel Manager.
RateGain Channel Manager is a premier channel management system used for distributing Availability, Rates, and Inventory (ARI) to Internet Distribution Systems (OTA) and collecting reservations from them. RG Channel Manager is trusted by many of the world’s renowned hotels and hotel chains.
Functionality:
PMS to Channel Manager: As availability and rates change in the PMS, updates are pushed to the Channel Manager. The Channel Manager processes these messages and sends updates to the subscribed OTAs.
Channel Manager to PMS: Reservations retrieved by the Channel Manager are sent to the PMS. Part 2 of this document specifies the interface requirements for the PMS to enable RateGain Channel Manager to push reservations and obtain confirmation numbers.
This document outlines the interfaces provided by the Channel Manager for PMS to push ARI updates. For further details on handling reservations and confirmation numbers, refer to Part 2 of this series.
